Alumni Shine During Fall Games

The 2011 fall alumni games were played on Saturday, August 27, under clear Florida skies and typical warm summer breezes. In the 4:00 p.m. ladies volleyball match, our alumni team lost with respective scores of 17-25, 18-25, and 13-25. With the help of President Stratton, Mr. Dupee, and reservists on this year's team, our ladies' soccer team played to a score of 0-1. In the finale (under the lights), the men's alumni soccer team showed up in both numbers and strength playing to a last minute 2-2 tie. The strength of this year's alumni team was the fact that many of the participants were recent CCC alumni who have maintained their strength and vigor, giving Coach Whitaker's team a good 'run for their money.' All games were played on campus this year.

The 2011 alumni basketball games will be played on Saturday, November 5. We encourage all alumni who have played to alert Coach Champion and Coach Halstead of their intent to play.
