I can compete for a pilot's slot in the Air Force while still taking Bible classes and enjoying the Christian atmosphere of a Bible college. I love it here. I appreciate most the spiritual maturity of the college. The faculty and staff have a real focus on Christ and the devotions in the evening and the chapels in the morning are very encouraging to my spiritual walk. As a dorm leader, I consider myself partially responsible for the spiritual well-being of my guys. Every half-hour of group devotions is a chance for me to impact them to walk closer with Christ or get sin out of their life or commit to serving Him more. I really appreciate the chance to lead devotions and I think that sometimes I learn more from my guys than they learn from me! |
