Next Steps for New Freshmen

	Review admission requirements. More info... The student must have graduated from high school or earned an equivalent degree (GED). The student must be a regenerate believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. The student should have at least a 2.0 unweighted high school GPA. The student must have at least an 870 critical reading/math score on the SAT, or a composite score of 18 on the ACT. The student must submit two satisfactory recommendations from a pastoral and academic source.
	Complete and submit your official application for admission. More info... The priority date for application and financial aid is March 15.
	Submit a non-refundable $35.00. More info... If applying online, you may submit the fee by credit card. Otherwise, please send a check or money order with the student's name on the check to the College. Clearwater will accept the College Board fee waiver or appropriate letter verifying family financial hardship.
	Submit an official high school transcript, current through the time of application. More info... Transcripts will be considered official only when sent directly from the institution to Clearwater via the address below. Final official transcripts must be submitted upon completion of course of study and must include graduation date.
	Submit your scores from the SAT (Code 5142) or ACT (Code 0715). The SAT or ACT is required of all applicants except those who are transferring in from another school.
	Submit two reference forms. More info... One reference must come from a member of the pastoral staff of your church and attest to your Christian testimony. The other reference should come from a high school teacher, counselor, or a college instructor and attest to your academic ability. Both references should be provided by persons outside of your own family.

Wesley, a Communications Arts major from Minnesota, is an active participant in all things dramatic at CCC. A faithful sound and light crew member for fine arts events, he gets to use his talents both on and off of the stage. "I love the personal, godly interaction with the teachers and staff at CCC; God is at the center of every subject," he says. As a member of Ministry Teams, Wes actively represents the college in numerous churches across the country. He is also a choir member at his local church. "The accountability of my spiritual walk to my peers, the faculty, and the staff has helped me grow while at CCC. It's not just an education; it's learning how to live." After graduation, Wesley wants to use his degree in the field of Public Relations.
