College Days offers an opportunity for prospective students to stay in the dorms, attend classes and chapel, meet with personnel in informative sessions, and participate in activities interacting with CCC students. College Days is scheduled for February 23-24, 2012. Check out the details below: Housing10th-12th grade prospective students who have registered for College Days may stay in the dorms. Sponsors or parents must find accommodations off-campus. See the local hotel information on our website.What to BringBible, bedding, towel, toiletries, *classroom and casual attireScheduleThe check-in time is from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 23 with an activity to follow. On Friday, February 24, prospective students and their families are encouraged to join us for breakfast, chapel, classes, lunch, seminars, tours, and a financial aid seminar with the day's activities concluding at 4:00 p.m.Cost$20 early registration between December 1 and January 26; after January 26 the fee is $30 (Online and phone registration dates will be recorded and appropriate fees collected upon arrival.)MealsMeals are included in the cost of registration for prospective students during the College Days activities. Meals are provided for parents and sponsors at no charge, but prospective students must indicate number of family members accompanying them for meals when registering. You may schedule the Super Shuttle from Tampa International Airport by contacting:http://www.supershuttle.com/en/TPAAirportShuttleTampaBay.html Friday Music AuditionsInterested Seniors may audition for a music scholarship.Audition Requirements: Students should prepare two selections of contrasting style; for example, one sacred piece and one classical piece. Memorization is not required for instrumentalists, but is preferred for pianists and vocalists. An accompanist will be provided if desired. Sight reading is required for all music scholarship candidates. School or church groups must register by completing and faxing the Group Reservation Form. The priority registration date is February 13, 2012. Late registrations after February 13 are not guaranteed, but will be considered as space allows. |
