Accreditation
Clearwater Christian College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Education degrees.
Certification
Our current program has been designed to meet certification requirements of the State of Florida in the area of educational leadership and is currently under review by the Florida Department of Education for program approval. This approval is expected to be received during the 2009-2010 school year. Upon approval, graduates will be eligible to apply for and receive Florida State Certification in Educational Leadership. Requirements vary from state-to-state.
Class size
It is the college's intent to limit the enrollment of each course to twenty (20) students.
Enrollment
New students are admitted for any term classes are offered--fall, spring, or summer.
Social and spiritual expectations
Graduate students are expected to be affiliated with a local church under the authority of a pastor and faithfully attend regularly scheduled services as they are able. Students are to abstain from actions and attitudes that demonstrate a lack of integrity including lying, stealing, and plagiarism; to be physically and mentally pure abstaining from immoral behavior including alcohol use, illegal drugs, fornication, adultery, pornography or homosexuality; and to be obedient and respectful of scriptural mandates, CCC rules, and local, state, and federal laws.
Technology resources
Blackboard, our learning management system, is fully supported with a 24/7 helpline and helpdesk. The college's institutional technology department will establish an intranet and email account for each graduate student registered.
Library resources
The library offers both print and electronic resources for research in this program. We offer 24/7 online access to a NetLibrary e-book collection, journal databases (ProQuest and EBSCO), and links through the library website to other research information. The library offers electronic reference assistance using email or AOL's Instant Messenger program. The print collection is available for both on-campus research and through interlibrary loan direct to the student, as needed. |
