Admissions Requirements
While there are no additional admissions requirements, those enrolling in the Social Studies Education major are expected to
maintain a minimum of a C average in their major classes. Social Studies Education majors are required to establish and maintain a
2.5 grade point average by the time they reach their sixtieth credit hour. Social Studies Education majors should desire to
comprehend how humans define themselves, made meaning of the world, and it all relates to the truths from in the Word of God.
Social Studies Education majors should desire for permanent, not temporal solutions to global problems through careful examination
of the past through the lens of the Word of God and have a passion to effect future generations in a positive manner.
