Disability Support Services
Clearwater Christian College encourages students with disabilities to participate fully
in all academic programs and student activities.
Disability support services operates from the Office of Guidance and Career Services located in Dambach Hall,
Room 112. Within this office, student claims of disabilities are evaluated based upon appropriate documentation and reasonable accommodations are made
to support each individual.
Registering for Accommodations
Students requesting accommodations must complete an application, submit documentation of their disability to the Student Section 504/ADA Coordinator, and
schedule an appointment to have documentation evaluated.
Although requests for accommodations may be made at any time, in order to provide them in a timely manner, students should begin the accommodation
procedure prior to the beginning of each semester.
For more information about the application process, documentation requirements, or disability support services, contact the Student Section 504/ADA
Coordinator, at (727)726-1153 extension 262 or email email@example.com.
As a sophomore psychology major, Lydia is learning how to combine Biblical perspectives and clinical psychology. "Throughout high school, I knew that
I wanted to attend a Christian college and study psychology. I wanted an atmosphere that promoted genuine Christian growth in my personal life and I
also wanted to gain a balanced perspective on psychology, one that emphasized biblical counseling as well as clinical psychology, and sought to prove
that true science and the Bible work together. There were several schools that offered these ideals, but I was sold on Clearwater after I visited and
saw how friendly and approachable the professors and students were and learned about the college's focus on personal discipleship. God has definitely
used Clearwater in my life to draw me closer to Him."
